remoteproc: da8xx: don't select CMA on no-MMU
We can only use CMA on systems that have an MMU, because of
the requirement to use memory migration. NOMMU systems are
rather constrained to start with, but it seems reasonable
to assume that DMA allocations can still succeed in the
constrained case for remoteproc on NOMMU, so this patch
changes the da8xx implementation to not rely on CMA when
the MMU is disabled.

bus/arm-cci: add dependency on OF && CPU_V7
The arm-cci code uses device tree helpers for initialization
that don't work on kernels built without CONFIG_OF. Further,
it contains an inline assembly in cci_enable_port_for_self()
that uses ARMv7 instructions and fails to build when targetting
other ARM instruction set versions.
This works around both issues by limiting the scope of the
Kconfig symbol to platforms that can actually build this driver
cleanly.

ARM: keystone requires ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT
The dynamic relocation that the keystone platform performs
only works if we can pick the phys offset at boot time. It's
possible that there is another solution for this, but this
is the easiest workaround. Kernels with ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT
are not portable across platforms, and I see no reason why
anyone would run a kernel without ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT on
keystone.

ARM: omap2: fix am43xx dependency on l2x0 cache
Commit
d941f86fad41b ("ARM: l2c: AM43x: add L2 cache support") enabled
the L2 cache support for the am43xx SoC, but caused a build regression
when the driver for that cache controller is disabled:
arch/arm/mach-omap2/built-in.o: In function `am43xx_init_early':
:(.init.text+0xb20): undefined reference to `omap_l2_cache_init'
This did not happen for OMAP4, which has the same call, but enables
the l2x0 driver unconditionally. We could do the same thing for
am43xx, but it seems better to allow turning it off and make the
code work in either case.
This adds an inline wrapper for omap_l2_cache_init for the disabled
case, and removes the 'select' from OMAP4 so it becomes a user
visible option.

"Here is the bulk of the powerpc changes for this merge window. It got
a bit delayed in part because I wasn't paying attention, and in part
because I discovered I had a core PCI change without a PCI maintainer
ack in it. Bjorn eventually agreed it was ok to merge it though we'll
probably improve it later and I didn't want to rebase to add his ack.
There is going to be a bit more next week, essentially fixes that I
still want to sort through and test.
The biggest item this time is the support to build the ppc64 LE kernel
with our new v2 ABI. We previously supported v2 userspace but the
kernel itself was a tougher nut to crack. This is now sorted mostly
thanks to Anton and Rusty.
We also have a fairly big series from Cedric that add support for
64-bit LE zImage boot wrapper. This was made harder by the fact that
traditionally our zImage wrapper was always 32-bit, but our new LE
toolchains don't really support 32-bit anymore (it's somewhat there
but not really "supported") so we didn't want to rely on it. This
meant more churn that just endian fixes.
This brings some more LE bits as well, such as the ability to run in
LE mode without a hypervisor (ie. under OPAL firmware) by doing the
right OPAL call to reinitialize the CPU to take HV interrupts in the
right mode and the usual pile of endian fixes.
There's another series from Gavin adding EEH improvements (one day we
*will* have a release with less than 20 EEH patches, I promise!).
Another highlight is the support for the "Split core" functionality on
P8 by Michael. This allows a P8 core to be split into "sub cores" of
4 threads which allows the subcores to run different guests under KVM
(the HW still doesn't support a partition per thread).
And then the usual misc bits and fixes ..."

decode_stacktrace: make stack dump output useful again
Right now when people try to report issues in the kernel they send stack
dumps to eachother, which looks something like this:
[ 6.906437] [<
ffffffff811f0e90>] ? backtrace_test_irq_callback+0x20/0x20
[ 6.907121] [<

[ 6.909480] [<
ffffffff810020c2>] do_one_initcall+0xc2/0x1e0
[...]
However, most of the text you get is pure garbage.
The only useful thing above is the function name. Due to the amount of
different kernel code versions and various configurations being used,
the kernel address and the offset into the function are not really
helpful in determining where the problem actually occured.
Too often the result of someone looking at a stack dump is asking the
person who sent it for a translation for one or more 'addr2line'
translations. Which slows down the entire process of debugging the
issue (and really annoying).
The decode_stacktrace script is an attempt to make the output more
useful and easy to work with by translating all kernel addresses in the
stack dump into line numbers. Which means that the stack dump would
look like this:
[ 635.148361] dump_stack (lib/dump_stack.c:52)
[ 635.149127] warn_slowpath_common (kernel/panic.c:418)
[ 635.150214] warn_slowpath_null (kernel/panic.c:453)
[ 635.151031] _oalloc_pages_slowpath+0x6a/0x7d0
[ 635.152171] ? zone_watermark_ok (mm/page_alloc.c:1728)
[ 635.152988] ? get_page_from_freelist (mm/page_alloc.c:1939)
[ 635.154766] __alloc_pages_nodemask (mm/page_alloc.c:2766)
It's pretty obvious why this is better than the previous stack dump
before.
Usage is pretty simple:
./decode_stacktrace.sh [vmlinux] [base path]
Where vmlinux is the vmlinux to extract line numbers from and base path
is the path that points to the root of the build tree, for example:
./decode_stacktrace.sh vmlinux /home/sasha/linux/ < input.log > output.log
The stack trace should be piped through it (I, for example, just pipe
the output of the serial console of my KVM test box through it).

RDMA/core: Add support for iWARP Port Mapper user space service
This patch adds iWARP Port Mapper (IWPM) Version 2 support. The iWARP
Port Mapper implementation is based on the port mapper specification
section in the Sockets Direct Protocol paper -
http://www.rdmaconsortium.org/home/draft-pinkerton-iwarp-sdp-v1.0.pdf
Existing iWARP RDMA providers use the same IP address as the native
TCP/IP stack when creating RDMA connections. They need a mechanism to
claim the TCP ports used for RDMA connections to prevent TCP port
collisions when other host applications use TCP ports. The iWARP Port
Mapper provides a standard mechanism to accomplish this. Without this
service it is possible for RDMA application to bind/listen on the same
port which is already being used by native TCP host application. If
that happens the incoming TCP connection data can be passed to the
RDMA stack with error.
The iWARP Port Mapper solution doesn't contain any changes to the
existing network stack in the kernel space. All the changes are
contained with the infiniband tree and also in user space.
The iWARP Port Mapper service is implemented as a user space daemon
process. Source for the IWPM service is located at
http://git.openfabrics.org/git?p=~tnikolova/libiwpm-1.0.0/.git;a=summary
The iWARP driver (port mapper client) sends to the IWPM service the
local IP address and TCP port it has received from the RDMA
application, when starting a connection. The IWPM service performs a
socket bind from user space to get an available TCP port, called a
mapped port, and communicates it back to the client. In that sense,
the IWPM service is used to map the TCP port, which the RDMA
application uses to any port available from the host TCP port
space. The mapped ports are used in iWARP RDMA connections to avoid
collisions with native TCP stack which is aware that these ports are
taken. When an RDMA connection using a mapped port is terminated, the
client notifies the IWPM service, which then releases the TCP port.
The message exchange between the IWPM service and the iWARP drivers
(between user space and kernel space) is implemented using netlink
sockets.
1) Netlink interface functions are added: ibnl_unicast() and
ibnl_mulitcast() for sending netlink messages to user space
2) The signature of the existing ibnl_put_msg() is changed to be more
generic
3) Two netlink clients are added: RDMA_NL_NES, RDMA_NL_C4IW
corresponding to the two iWarp drivers - nes and cxgb4 which use
the IWPM service
4) Enums are added to enumerate the attributes in the netlink
messages, which are exchanged between the user space IWPM service
and the iWARP drivers

raid5: speedup sync_request processing
The raid5 sync_request() processing calls handle_stripe() within the context of
the resync-thread. The resync-thread issues the first set of read requests
and this adds execution latency and slows down the scheduling of the next
sync_request().
The current rebuild/resync speed of raid5 is not much faster than what
rotational HDDs can sustain.
Testing the following patch on a 6-drive array, I can increase the rebuild
speed from 100 MB/s to 175 MB/s.
The sync_request() now just sets STRIPE_HANDLE and releases the stripe. This
creates some more parallelism between the resync-thread and raid5 kernel daemon.

Btrfs: make fsync work after cloning into a file
When cloning into a file, we were correctly replacing the extent
items in the target range and removing the extent maps. However
we weren't replacing the extent maps with new ones that point to
the new extents - as a consequence, an incremental fsync (when the
inode doesn't have the full sync flag) was a NOOP, since it relies
on the existence of extent maps in the modified list of the inode's
extent map tree, which was empty. Therefore add new extent maps to
reflect the target clone range.

Btrfs: fix leaf corruption after __btrfs_drop_extents
Several reports about leaf corruption has been floating on the list, one of them
points to __btrfs_drop_extents(), and we find that the leaf becomes corrupted
after __btrfs_drop_extents(), it's really a rare case but it does exist.
The problem turns out to be btrfs_next_leaf() called in __btrfs_drop_extents().
So in btrfs_next_leaf(), we release the current path to re-search the last key of
the leaf for locating next leaf, and we've taken it into account that there might
be balance operations between leafs during this 'unlock and re-lock' dance, so
we check the path again and advance it if there are now more items available.
But things are a bit different if that last key happens to be removed and balance
gets a bigger key as the last one, and btrfs_search_slot will return it with
ret > 0, IOW, nothing change in this leaf except the new last key, then we think
we're okay because there is no more item balanced in, fine, we thinks we can
go to the next leaf.
However, we should return that bigger key, otherwise we deserve leaf corruption,
for example, in endio, skipping that key means that __btrfs_drop_extents() thinks
it has dropped all extent matched the required range and finish_ordered_io can
safely insert a new extent, but it actually doesn't and ends up a leaf
corruption.
One may be asking that why our locking on extent io tree doesn't work as
expected, ie. it should avoid this kind of race situation. But in
__btrfs_drop_extents(), we don't always find extents which are included within
our locking range, IOW, extents can start before our searching start, in this
case locking on extent io tree doesn't protect us from the race.
This takes the special case into account.
