From a7b1d74e872a4299e1aef66a648316c9c23e5ab4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Steven Rostedt (VMware)" Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2018 22:36:47 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] tracing: Change default buffer_percent to 50 After running several tests, it appears that having the reader wait till half the buffer is full before starting to read (and causing its own events to fill up the ring buffer constantly), works well. It keeps trace-cmd (the main user of this interface) from dominating the traces it records.
